Maybe I feel like to do one more thing. something. like, going out of LA. I’ve never been to out of LA since I came here LA.

BTW, does anyone have wet suit and surf board for me? 

One of my friends in LA, who is American, told me that he had not known the difference between Japanese and Chinese till he went to high school. To say correctly, he thought there was no difference. Almost all the asian countries were the same culture-wise, he thought. surprisingly this may be not uncommon, but no wonder once you go to “chinese sushi restaurant” 

• straddle handstanding 5*3
• hands stand push up 10*3
• chinning exercise with backpack filled with books 10*4(concentrate on triceps*2, on broadest muscle of back *2)
• dips with the same backpack

I think it is more natural to train using your weight than using weights like dumbbells, you’ll get more useful muscles, don’t you think? Muscles trained by weight, machines or something like that tend to be showy but worthless. maybe… maybe. Additionally, some times you find people working out with dumbbells and machines look unnaturally built, don’t you?

I said that it’s easy to do self-weight training for gymnasts, but I didn’t say that it’s too difficult for not-gymnasts people really. Anybody can try that also. I wish everybody who wants to be in good shape will get natural healthy body. Summer is almost there!

家トレは我々体操選手にとっては容易いことです。ダンベルとかを使う代わりに自分の体の重みを利用します。体操選手は自重トレーニングが普通の人より得意に違いありません。最近の自分の上半身メニューはこんな感じ：

• 伸肘倒立 5*3
• 倒立腕立て 10*3
• 本詰め込んだリュックを背負って懸垂 10*4 (三頭筋メイン*2, 広背筋メイン*2)
• ディッピング（同じリュック背負って）

自重を使ってのトレーニングはダンベルとか使ったトレーニングよりも自然だし、”使える”筋肉がつくと思いませんか？ウェイトやマシーンで鍛えられた筋肉は見掛け倒しになりがち。多分。しかも、そういうふうに鍛えた人たちが見た目不自然だったりするのときどき見かけるでしょ？

体操選手にとって自重トレーニングは簡単と書きましたが、そうじゃない人にとって難しすぎるとは言ってません。誰にでもできると思います。in good shapeな体を得たいと思っているすべての人が、自然で健康的な体を得られる事を祈っています。夏はすぐそこです

留学最初のセメスター、色々ありました。生まれて初めて舞台でのピアノ演奏やら、ソルフェージュの授業やら。ちゃんと音楽の基本的な訓練してこなかったので、とても有意義でした。あとは、初年度の学生のみが対象で一度しかチャンスの無いAlpert Scholarshipを一位で獲得したのは本当に嬉しい出来事でした。LACC Music Departmentで由緒ある奨学金です。1年間掲示板に貼られます（笑

まだ写真はありませんが、でかでかと写真が貼られるっぽい。

夏休みは2ヶ月半。日本には帰りません。有意義に過ごしたいものです。

I don’t know about recent situation of colleges in Japan, but you couldn’t check your grade via online when I was a student at Kyoto University of Education. Can you, now? At LACC, I’m going to, you can register classes, pay tuition and check your grades via online. very convenient.

Well, it’s been ten days since spring semester final exams ended, then all my grades have been presented. As I expected, I got A for all classes I took. haha. sorry for bragging

It was my first semester since I came here. I went through a lot of new things. It was very first time to play piano at recital. First-time solfege training… etc. Since I had never trained music fundamental, it was really beneficial. I was so delighted to win the first place of Alpert Scholarship, which is venerable scholarship for first-semester students, means that you have only one chance to get it. It is put up on the bulletin in front of the music department office for a year. lol

Summer break is two and half months. I won’t go back to Japan this summer. I want to spend this summer meaningfully.

Now I am composing a piano piece which is a final project of Harmony class. It is tougher than I though and takes longer than I thought. The deadline is tomorrow. I have Harmony final exam tomorrow also. And that’s it. I will be done with this semester. Time is flying. About 4-month length, this spring semester was. It was really really fun for me. met a lot of new people, made so good friends who are very important for me. This 4 month was so significant.

目標を変えた方がいいみたい。今日から、”hopefully”, 一日置きにブログを書くことにしよう。てか、こういうの続けるの得意な人、その方法を教えてください

今はピアノ曲を作曲中。和声のクラスのファイナルプロジェクトです。思ったより大変で時間がかかっている。明日が締切。明日は和声のクラスの期末テストもある。それでもって今期は終了。あっという間。4ヶ月ちょいの春セメスター。本当に楽しかった。沢山の人に会ったし、大事な友達もできた。有意義な4ヶ月だった。

I chose male voice, flute, acoustic guitar, marimba and cello for this song. It is a little hard to figure out what you can do with a guitar, but it is interesting and fun. I’m planning to finish 4 songs during summer.
昨日また投稿しなかったなぁ。続けられない性格？まぁいいや。今日はApplied Musicのクラスの審査テストがあります。4月に完成させた弦楽四重奏と、今取り組んでいる歌曲をプレゼンします。歌曲は4曲になる予定で、今日はそのうちドラフトを完成させた1曲目をプレゼンします。テキストは百人一首から月をテーマに選んだ4首で、1曲目は”夏の夜は まだ宵ながら 明けぬるを 雲のいづこに 月宿るらむ”。短歌を英訳ってまた難しいけど、英訳してみました。”On a short summer night, the day dawned while taking it for an evening, wondering where in the clouds is the moon, hasn’t time to hide in the mountains.” 結構きれいじゃん？

男声ソロ、フルート、ギター、マリンバ、チェロを選びました。ギターで何が出来るか探るのはなかなか難しいけど、興味深く楽しいです。夏の間に4曲を仕上げる予定です。
